Holiday Makeup

Hey I'm baaack!
I was playing around with my makeup today and I did a holiday look but it's also wearable for an everyday look. It was inspired by itsjudytime on youtube. She usually does a brown smokey eye kind of look and I used what she did and made it my own, sort of. This is my look:

What's great about these color is that they're so neutral and so easy to use that it looked so beautiful. I have green/hazel eyes and browns and gold colors really make my eye color pop. I absolutely love my eye color and I love to show it off as many ways as I can. I use contacts and avoid using my glasses to avoid hiding my eyes, I use colors like these so the color could be brighter and I use my special and amazing mascara to make my eyes more noticeable. I don't mean to brag but just like the saying, if you've got it, flaunt it. I was blessed with a beautiful eye color so I love to show it off!

What I did to get this look was I used my three Urban Decay palettes. First I used Venus and Foxy from the Naked Basics all over my lid. Then I took Naked 2 and Faint from the same palette and blended it in my crease and upwards and out. If that makes sense?

Anyways, I used Snakebite from the Naked 2 palette on top of the Naked 2 and Faint to darken it up but very lightly. I also used it above that to blend it all together and not have any harsh lines. I also used a little tiny bit of the black on top of the darker colors just to give it a smokey effect, but it really wasn't much. The black is very pigmented so I had to be very careful with how much I used.

Then using my finger, I used Honey on the center on my lid from an Urban Decay palette I don't know the name of. It doesn't have a specific name. I used my finger because it's much easier application and it saved me the work of wetting it on the brush and then on my lid.

It brought more color and dimension to the colors being used. I love this look and I'm probably, most likely going to wear it on Christmas because it's just gorgeous and it's so festive as well.
I hope you enjoyed reading this, thank you for reading.
Blessings xoxo
